milk in school

I loving having milk in school.

Having milk in school motivates me to do all my work so I can have a refreshing drink to cool me down. Milk is full of calcium which is good for your teeth. For example my little sister has bad teeth but she is getting better at drinking milk because she knows that it is good for her.

Milk strengthens your bones and gives you lots of energy.
Normally I don't get enough sleep so I drink lots of milk to give me lots of energy.

I enjoy having milk in school.

SLACKLINE INSPIRATION

Room 3 and Room 1 bought a slackline with their class money this term. It is very popular at break times and it is great to see kids helping each other and persevering. Here is a link to some slackline inspiration. Enjoy!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EzdqBKRMM-M

Ashton in Oz

Hi there everybody. It's Ashton here from Oz. I am having a good time here. I have done a lot of things so far. I have been to an Aussie Rules Football game - I even got to meet the players who signed my top and Payton's.

I went to the aquarium to see a very big crocodile. Scary stuff.

I have also done some exercise with dad. Yesterday I ran in a 5 kilometre race with Eli. Here are some pictures of my trip so far.
 Just about finished my race.

Spiderman and me at the end of the race.

Scary Crocodile

Happy Football Family

Having fun in Oz. Your classmate, Ashton Blake Blackman.

SUSTAINABLE COASTLINES

We were lucky enough to have a visit from Oliver who is part of Sustainable Coastlines. He showed us some pretty shocking photographs of litter they had found on beaches around the world . Some of the photos were of dead wildlife whose stomachs were full of plastic rubbish. Oliver and his friends are doing a fantastic job of cleaning up beaches all around the world.  As people living next to a main river which flows into the sea, we can help too! The message is simple...If you see rubbish on the ground, pick it up! Every little bit counts. Here is a link to the Sustainable Coastlines website for more information.http://sustainablecoastlines.org
 TUI'S SIMILES

Bananas like a rowboat striving to reach the top of the waves.

Cherries like two red googly eyes staring back at you.

Pineapples like naughty glow in the dark ghosts that wear crazy fluro hats.
