Fruit Time Karakia

A Fisherman's Karakia

At school we have a karakia before fruit time each morning. This youtube clip is a karakia that is said before fishing.

The Colourful Milk Experiment

Check out the cool science we did in Room 3 today. There were lots of 'Wow' moments in our class!
If your child is raiding your cupboards looking for food colouring, detergent, milk and cotton buds this is why!!!

NEWS: Boy Rescued from Rip

Rips in the sea can be dangerous. This boy was caught in a rip at Totaranui. It was lucky he was being watched by adults who quickly came to the rescue.

In Room 3 we have been learning about the importance of always having an adult watching you while you are swimming. We have been learning about hazards such as rips and currents.

I thought you would all like this video as keeping our environment clean is an issue most Ngatimoti School students are passionate about. Boyan Slat is no different to any of you. He had an idea and a passion for cleaning our oceans and has worked really hard to make his dream a reality. You can all make a difference to our world just like Boyan is doing.
